This movie is an adaptation of the Boeke Prize-winning and Commonwealth Writers' Prize-nominated novel Q & A (2005) by Indian author and diplomat Vikas Swarup.
The movie tells the story of a young man from the slums of Mumbai who appears on the Indian version of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" and exceeds people's expectations, arousing the suspicions of the game show host and of law enforcement officials.
It's kind of draggy at certain parts of the movie, but it's kind of interesting to see how people managed to live in such places. Certain parts of the movie reminds me of the kids in Cambodia. No matter how bad the environment is, the kids are still happy.
I think the movie is fine, but I don't think you should go to a cinema to catch it because it's not really worth the money unless you really have nothing to do or have too much money to spare. If it is the latter, I don't mind you donating some part of that spare money to me.
